Home / Right of withdrawal

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you received your order, without giving any reason and without any penalty.

For orders delivered in separate parts or in multiple shipments, the 14-day period starts from the day you received the last product of the order.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us within the above deadline through the withdrawal form available on this page or by another clear statement of your decision.

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

Fill in the form below with your order details. Once your request has been registered, you will receive a confirmation by email.

The product must be returned to us without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days from the day you informed us of your withdrawal.

The refund will be processed within the legal deadline, after we have received the products back or after you have provided proof that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Condition of Products Upon Return

Products must be returned in excellent condition, without damage, without use and, where possible, in their original packaging.

The customer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the product if the use made of it exceeds what is necessary to check the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

For food products, beverages, oils, honey, herbs, nuts, coffee, tea, spices, supplements or similar products, the packaging must be closed, intact and suitable for safe return and resale, where this is allowed by the nature of the product.

Return Costs

The direct cost of returning the products is borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed or unless the return is due to an error on our part.

When the Right of Withdrawal Applies to Food and Grocery Products

The right of withdrawal may apply to products that can be safely returned in closed and intact packaging, without the protective seal or original packaging being broken.

By way of example, withdrawal may be accepted for products such as:

  • olive oil or other oils in closed and intact packaging
  • honey in closed and intact packaging
  • coffee, tea, herbs and spices in closed packaging
  • pasta, rice, legumes, cereals and other dry foods in closed packaging
  • nuts, dried fruits and snacks in closed packaging
  • packaged long-life products, provided that they have not been opened, altered or damaged

When the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply in all cases. By way of example, the following are excluded:

  1. Products that may deteriorate or expire quickly, such as fresh foods, perishable products, refrigerated products, frozen products or products with a short shelf life.
  2. Opened packages of food, beverages, oils, honey, coffee, tea, herbs, spices, nuts, supplements or other consumable products, where they cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene, safety or health protection.
  3. Sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection and which have been unsealed after delivery.
  4. Products whose packaging has been opened, torn, tampered with, soiled or altered in a way that makes them unsuitable for safe return or resale.
  5. Products that, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods.
  6. Products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, such as special packaging, personalised labels, custom gift baskets or products created upon special order.

Examples

If you purchased olive oil, honey, coffee, tea, spices or another packaged food product and the packaging remains closed, intact and suitable for return, you may request withdrawal within 14 days from delivery.

If the packaging has been opened or the seal has been broken, the product will not be accepted as a withdrawal return for reasons of hygiene, safety and health protection.

If you purchased a fresh, perishable, frozen or refrigerated product, the right of withdrawal may not apply because the product may deteriorate or expire quickly.

If you purchased a special-order product, personalised packaging or a gift basket created specifically for you, the right of withdrawal may not apply.

Defective or Incorrect Products

Withdrawal should not be confused with a return due to a defective or incorrect product.

If you received the wrong product, a damaged product or a product with an obvious issue, please contact us immediately so that we can review the case in accordance with the law and the shop’s return policy.
